Smoothies Have Become a Mainstay of my Nutrition
4 years ago
I started journaling my workouts as a part of my recovery from a broken hip/femur sustained on December 12, 2007. Although I began training a couple of weeks after the surgery, my serious training began on June 1st, 2008. I am focused on overall strength and cycling. In recent months I have been spending most of my time in the gym. I'll get out on my bike more as we begin 2009 and the weather improves.
meanwhile it was -4 F here. interesting bike!
ReplyDeleteI have been riding recumbents since 2001. I tried a trike three years ago and really liked it. Not as fast as a two wheeler, but fast enough for me and more comfortable over long distances. My trike is low to the ground and I have to be sure I am visible with flashing lights and flags. For more information on recumbents see www.bentrideronline.com.
ReplyDeleteGiven the ice and snow where you live a three wheeler might be the way to go. My accident where I broke my hip was on a two wheel recumbent.
good point about using a trike ice and snow. hmmm.
